It won't be a big file/drawing. My husband can update this laptop next week to give it more ram. Is it possible to run it with a smaller file?

My machine at work has a whoppin' 2 (yes, two) GB RAM.  I try not to run anything else while running Revit.  Helps that the machine doesn't even have sound capabilities.  Performance is probably somewhat less than optimal...  I think it has a Motorola 6502 processor, too.  Heh.  Quitting out of Revit every couple of hours and restarting it helps as well.
