Guide Grid in REVIT

Hi!

 

I have a question about guide grid in Revit. How I can create grid lines like the picture which I attached below and to clarify my question can you look over this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhS7yIvVyQI

I'm pretty sure a guide grid is wanted in views, not in sheets. The vid shows working in a view with a grid at the first level. I'm not watching that whole thing, by the way.

 

I would suggest making a suitable grid in Autocad, then linking it in to your project. Or just array a bunch of reference lines.

In sheets you can use guide grids. In views you can use Show Workplane.

Objects will snap to the lines of the workplane grid.

You can set the dimensions of the grid.

Note that his is a representation of the workplane. This means that it will show the present representation of the active workplane. So you have to make sure that it is properly set.
