Fake equipment front view

Guys, once in a while we have an industrial project that involve lots of equipments, ex attached.

To model them would take months and not much use for that in terms of the scope.

We need to show them in plans which is easy with "model in place" their footprints. Yet, to show them in elevation we can't just show a block. From the field we can take good photo and alpha out in Photoshop, just fine.

We thinking using those photo and "somehow" associate them with the "model in place", just for elevation view is good enough. I don't know how (and further dreaming of having Rv to render the alpha chanel as blank/clear)

Anyone?

- Insert Image on elevation view

- Download a similar family from a manufacturer

- Model it in a simplified form, no nuts and bolts (literally)

You could just leave it in the box.   😉
