Thanks. I'm with you on the wanting to know what the acronyms are. I figure that if it was worth writing it is worth understanding. If the use of OST is that insignificant, they should change it to a WTF parameter or delete the use in the code, but it's probably useful in keeping track of the data flow and therefore has significance.
The use of the OST enum (the values) is important, naturally; It is the name of the acronym that is of no particular importance. We could change the names if we decide so, but I have a feeling it might angry quite a few programmers if we do. That is why it is kept the way it has been since day one.
