Synchronize single element to Central

HI.

Is there a way to sync and release ownership of a single known element that has been modified back to the Central model without having to do a full Sync with central?  In this case there has been a single modification to the keynote table through code.  It would be much quicker if we could then reliquish that single element back to the central file.

Possible?

Dear Phillip,

I am not an expert of these things, but I have heard often enough how hard it is for Revit to determine the elements affected by a change, any change at all.

On that basis, I will hazard a guess, and say:

No, of course not. Imagine the general case? A change to one single element might potentially affect the entire model. So you cannot sync in isolation.

That is the cost of a consistent parametric BIM, and there is no way around it.

I hope I am not too far out on a limb here...

Cheers,

Jeremy

Thanks Jeremy for your reply.

I thought as much but wanted to make sure I was not missing anything.

Regards

Phillip
