Show Hidden Lines

Hi All, I have a client that needs to execute the "show hidden lines" command on many objects (dowels represented as lines embedded within a slab depth being shown in a plan view). But I don't think Revit permits an option of this command where you can select multiple objects to be revealed, and selecting one by one is very inefficient. I'm wondering if the equivalent to this command can be called from the API? Or can object styles or something be set on the objects to make them always visible through the slab (not necessarily using the API)? Thanks in advance, Jon

Is that similar to ghost view when slab object is selected/picked?

Never mind, I was just preparing an example model and noticed the native command does have an option for "multiple selection".  Sorry for posting this.
