When I'd heard Revit was getting macros, I was kind of excited, thinking it would be easy to record a macro of common repetitive tasks, but now I'm looking at the VSTA system and a bunch of Visual Basic and C# code.
Is there a way to just issue a sequence of menu commands through this system that I'm just not seeing?
They have not yet implemented (or turned on - I'm not sure which) - the recording feature of VSTA.
So at the moment, it's more like the old Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) - just an in-process IDE for doing development.
