Revit 2008 Architecture Toolbar

Hi,

I created a toolbar for Revit 2008 Architecture. After the toolbar installation (revit.ini configuration) the toolbar works fine, but after some time, the buttons in the toolbar stop responding. The tooltips are shown but the buttons doesn't respond. How can I solve this?

PS: I took the toolbar sample of the Revit API as a start point.

Hi again,

in the meantime I had the opportunity to test the same application in 6 machines. The results were:

using admin account:

PC1 - OK
PC2 - OK
PC3 - OK
PC4 - OK
PC5 - OK
PC6 - OK

using user account:

PC1 - OK
PC2 - BUTTONS NOT FUNCTIONING
PC3 - BUTTONS NOT FUNCTIONING
PC4 - BUTTONS NOT FUNCTIONING
PC5 - OK
PC6 - OK

Any ideas? I need your help guys on this one, I don't have any idea what's happening.

Thanks for your attention,

looks like local permissions. Did you check the local admin group to be sure
that all users are in as local admins?

What operating system? Sounds like a permission problem. Where is the command
dll on the network?

Hi, thanks for your reply. The users must belong to the admin group?
The users on the machines that are OK aren't admin's.

Hi again,

I read the document 'APIMultiUser.doc' that's in the installation directory of the Revit API. I followed the steps described there an the results are the same. Accidentally I found a solution: if you right click on a toolbar, hide the 'Text Labels' and then show again, the buttons on the toolbar start to work again.

This is strange but it works. Theres any solution for this matter or anyone with the same symptoms?

Thanks again for your attention,
