Dear Sanjaymann,

I do not know about the elevation parameter...

The Elevation property of the Level element in the API, however, is a real number.

As such, you cannot add a suffix or prefix to it.

You can only add such decoration to strings, or more complex objects that explicitly support it.

I would assume that the parameter you are talking about is also real valued.

You can check that for yourself using RevitLookup.

Cheers,

Jeremy

Hi.

I'm afraid at least I don't understand what you are after. What do you mean by "suffix" or "prefix" Do you mean that you would like to see some additional text within the Revit property palette next to the elevation parameter?

If you mean that you want to add a suffix to the elevation value as viewed from an elevation or section view, There's no direct API method I know of to do this. You can however do it manually by creating a custom Level Head family whith the suffix added to the elevation label. You could then use the API to assign this level head to your elevation.

You are right scott. No api to do so. So will have to go via the family route.

Thanks & Regards
