How to Identify Revit familyInstance is ISection or Asymmetric section?

Hi

       I would like to group selected familyInstances according CrosssectionType( ISection/Asymmetric). Anyone have Ideas?

Hi Sangsen,

 

Could you elaborate on this question?  In another question, you mentioned beam. Are you trying to get a section of a structural beam?

HI Mikako,

 

   Thanks for your response, Yes you are correct I am trying to get Section details of structural beams. From that section details I need to group "I section" and Asymmetric  beams.

You should definitely check out the REX Content Genewrator, if you have not already done so.
