Did you try (Group.Location as LocationPoint).Point ? you can get and set it.

CF-3797 - API ability to set origin point of group but not change location of the group itself

Hey Groupies,

I wan't to move the user moveable origin point to a corner position, is this at all possible, I dont actually want to move the group.

I'm bumping this post as I've ran into the same difficulties with retrieving the rotation and also mirrored state of a Group instance. I've been getting info from Jeremy Tammik and through him from the dev team here:

Nice Try, but entire Group moves when setting (Group.Location as LocationPoint).Point to a new XYZ.

It is now 2024, is there a solution yet for moving the Group Origin of a ModelGroup?
