Get all materials you can create in revit with unique ID

Hi,

For sustainability calculator i need to get all materials type from REVIT, to create a table in my database to make them correspond to the id of the material stored in my database. How can i get this list of materials with something unique and not-editable to make them correspond with something in my database?

I know how to get uniqueId from a material in a project but i don't know if this uniqueId is unique for the project or for the application, if it's stored somewhere that this id is this material. I need a complete list to be able to store it in my database, so i can't do it from a project, because it can't have all materials, in fact it can, but it can be so long to create a project with all materials in it, i think there's a better solution, that's why i ask it here.

The UniqueId is definitely unique within the project.
