Curtain Wall Panel Location

Hi,

Is there any way i can identify the elevation, relative to the Project or Survey base point, of a Curtain Panel in a curtain Wall System?

I am trying to iterate thru the panels in a curtain wall and get the location of each.

I have tried casting it as a Solid Geometry Object but seems to be returning null.

Anybody have any ideas or know if this is possible?

Thanks,

Paul.

When you use revitlookup you can see a panel has a Level parameter and you can get the geometric information like origin (boundingbox).

Hi,

Thanx for your time,

Is a curtain door, (not a door hosted in a wall in a curtain system), The same as a curtain panel or is it a stretchy curve based thing and does it have a location curve that i can get from the element?

Alternatively can I get the centre from the bounding box on the floor level? Is this achieved like with rooms (x.min + x.max) * 0.5 ?

Cheers,

Toiler
