Hi I'm Jordi, I'm in my last year in engineering in Le Mans France. I'm actually doing some reasearch on my end of studies internship. I've got a potential subject which use Revit. I must create a simple UI for people who don't know much about 3D. My question is the following : is it possible to use any coding language (I'd prefer Python) to create this UI who would launch Revit in the background and do stuff, for example, linking a 3D object in a 3D point model. The idea is to simplify the procedure to the maximum.

The Revit API or application programming interface is based on .NET and .NET only. Most people use C#, VB or managed C++. An IronPython interface is also available, the RevitPythonShell, and also an IronRuby one, the RevitRubyShell:
