Remake stil crash when importing .ply geometry from FARO Scene.

Hi,

just to be sure - is the geometry you are importing a 3D model - a MESH? if not, we never did nor can import point clouds .PLY ( ply is a confsing format as it can be mesh and point cloud). if

if its a mesh, could you please share one with us so we can figure out why is it crashing? you can shar ehe 360.autodesk.com folder with me tatjana.dzambazova@autodesk.com

Having said that, if you have a pointcloud from Faro, you can import in reCap and use the cloud service scan to lesh to get the RCM and the use ReMake. please let me know which it is? hansk tanja

It is a mesh generated from FARO 6.2. I have asked about this earlier and your team did say that it is a bug in Remake.

However, I will send you a .ply file for testing.
