the problem !? I need to know how I can split the .rcs , .rcm or .las file captured from UAV into manageable areas. Like I have 6 Acres of UAV data set I want to split it into 1 Acre Grid. I will be using Remake / Recap / C3D workflow. I need it urgent as I am developing a workflow for a live project. I don't want to invest in Hardware to upgrade computing but split the models for existing computing capacity.
I think the easiest way is to use the orthogrid and by using your reference point on the mesh, select a mesh part, delete the rest and save as a new rcm file. So eventually you will end up by having different file for different mesh parts.
