Using ReCap after installing Faro SCENE 5.3

*NOTE: If you are already using ReCap/ReCap 360 2.0 or later, you will no longer need to do this when updating SCENE.*

After installing a new version of Faro SCENE, you may notice that ReCap doesn't seem to be functioning correctly.

If you should encounter this, please follow these steps:

1. Download SCENE SDK 5.3.2

2. Run the installer (reboot if prompted)

3. Open a command prompt as administrator

4. Change directories to the side-by-side SDK folder: “cd C:\Windows\WinSxS\ amd64_faro.ls_1d23f5635ba800ab_1.1.503.2_none_34808d5b032d8484”

5. Register the iqOpen.dll with the operating system: “regsvr32 iqOpen.dll”
