ReCap EPSG CRS error

When I try to set a Coordinate CRS in ReCap (Studio), either through Preferences or within a project it gives me the following error: 

Coordinate can't be applied successfully. Even after applying SP1 Update 1.0.100.12.

Why?

I would first try to update your version fo ReCap.  The latest is 1.4.2.2.  You can get it by first downloading 1.4.0.132:

http://www.autodesk.com/products/recap/free-trial

The Autodesk Application Manager will then let you know that two updates are available to install.  If you want to install them manually, they can be downloaded here:

• Autodesk ReCap 2015 hotfix 6 (October update) for users of version 1.4.0.132
• Autodesk ReCap 2015 hotfix 7 (November update) for users of version 1.4.1.7
