I had posted earlier that I had problems with Faro scanes not loading in ReCap Pro. Turns out the problem was my client using Filezilla to upload the scans to my ftp site. There is a setting in Filezilla that says a file with no extension will be treated as ASCII. The ScanStream files within the Faro hierarchy (the actual data) have no extension, therefore Filezilla uploaded them as ASCII instead of Binary and the files were corrupted.
You probably won't be doing this exact workflow, but beware of this if data is being transmitted via FTP.
