Can files created in ReCap 2015 be opened by Autodesk 2014 products?

We don't have 2015 products installed yet and users have been asking for ReCap 2015.

Thanks

Mike

Yes, everything should be backwards compatible. (If you did end up having a problem with anything, please let us know so that we can investigate if needed. However, that shouldn't be nessecary.)

I am having a issue with this workflow.  I have created a point cloud using ReCap 2015 version 1.3.5.1 and I cannot load it into Revit 2014 build 20131024_2115(x64) Update Release 2.  I get an error saying "Unable to create a Point Cloud instance. The file may be incompatible or corrupt."

I don't use Revit, but....

1. Is it an RCS file you've output?  I'm guessing it is.

2. Does the PC you are trying to load into Revit load into a new Recap project?

(That would be the first troubleshooting step to see if Revit has an issue or the PC is the issue.)
