Slow redraws

Installed QC7 over QC6. I did not uninstall QC6 as I should have. All was
working well until I uninstalled QC6 via Windows Add/Remove programs
utility. Unfortunately, QC7 was uninstalled also ( I should have read the
readme first). Reinstalled QC7. Now when loading large drawings (floor
plans at a large hospital), the redraw time seems excessive. A couple of
clicks of the mouse or mouse movement speeds things up. I would appreciate
any assistance with this.

Thanks

If redraws were OK prior to uninstalling the old installation, I would suggest
uninstalling one more time and reinstalling making sure nothing is running in
the background and any anti-virus software is disabled.

Shortly after I posted, I wound up having to reboot for some other reason. After that, all was well. Looks like I broke two major laws of modern computing. Read the Readme.1st files, and when things don't seem to be working right, REBOOT! Thanks for the response. Rich M.
