QuickCad 7 Symbols print too faint on HP Laserjet 3150

I haven't used QuickCad Millenium Edition 7 for a long time. I just started using it recently. But the Symbols from the Library print so faintly they are unusable. The program is no longer supported. Anybody know how to get the symbols to print darker? I can thicken the lines and objects I create. But not the pre-made symbols.

Frustrated

You can thicken the lines in the symbols you use by:

1. Click on the symbol to highlight it

2. Use the "Explode" tool. You may have to explode the symbol more than once to be able to edit the line widths.

3. Highlight the items in the symbol that you wish to change, then make the appropriate changes, such as line width.

Best of luck,

Terry

Just set the printer resolution to 300dpi instead of 1200. The line width in Quickcad is defined in pixles. So a lower resolution printer will print thicker lines.
