QC R7 shift +/-

As a former Drafix Cad Pro user I normally center and zoom on a
selected object by doing [NUM Lock(off)] [Shift]&
[(numberpad)+/-]. This works in QC 7 but it also rotates the
object. Could someone check this? I'd like to know if its QC or
QC and my computer setup that's broke.

thanks

Hi Rod,

No.....your computer ain't broke.

If you select an object, +/- will rotate the object at the angle as defined
in Drawing Options....regardless if Num Lock is ON or OFF.

Shift +/- will rotate & zoom if Num Lock is OFF and rotate only if Num Lock
is ON.

Ctrl +/- will zoom only....regardless if Num Lock is ON or OFF.

The same applies in QC V6 & AS R7.

Ric Norris.

Hey, Rod,

In AutoSketch, you can type Ctrl+ to view the entire drawing. Select a
portion of it, and Ctrl+ fills the screen with the selection set. Does it
work that way in QC?

Try the Help file. In the Index Field, type "Keyboard" and see what's available
as shortcuts.
