Sometimes when working in QTO 2012 my documents browser gets a red 'x' through the dialouge box. I can still select views and see name previews when I hold my house over where the documents used to be, but am unable to seen anything.
All help is appreciated.
Hello. Thank you for the post. The screenshot appears as though you are un able to render this particular pane. Do you have the updates installed? That would be the first step. Also, I would update your graphics card drives to see if this is a view issue.
Also, I would reset the window layout. Click Window > Reset Window Layout
If this does not help, you can try to reset your QTO user profile. Sometimes this helps. Simply rename the following folders:
C:\Users\**YOUR USED ID**\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk, Inc\Autodesk Quantity Takeoff 2012
C:\Users\**YOUR USERID**\AppData\Local\Autodesk, Inc\Autodesk Quantity Takeoff 2012
After they are removed, when you start QTO, it will rebuild these folders for you.
