Basically because it splits the effort to answer you. If you
question truly belongs in more than one group, post them. But
many people will come into the ACAD groups for example and post
the same question on plotting with ACAD to all 7 versions of the
ACAD groups (2005, 2004, etc.). The post really belongs in
Print/plot. Administrators try to keep track of questions that
don't have answers and it can be quite difficult and confusing if
the same question is all over the place.
