I’ve written a custom shader in HLSL, and needed to add a string attribute to the DX11 node it’s loaded into. Because the Attribute Editor suppresses any extra attributes for DX11 nodes, I’ve used an XML AE template to expose it along with the shader settings.
All the controls work as expected but, when loading a previously saved file, the “technique” drop-down widget always defaults to the first entry. The actual technique is set to what it was when the scene was saved – it’s just that the UI control isn’t updated.
All the other bits update correctly. Am I missing something in my template, or is this a bug?
I’m using 2015(ext1 sp5)
