Text - Arial Display and Printing Problems

Morning all.

Me and my colleagues seem to be getting this problem more often, where we have two identical pieces of Mtext which have the same properties, and are the same text style, which is Arial. But one displays slightly thicker which jagged edges and one displays smooth. When we go to print, the text with the smooth edge prints normal and the one which displays unusual prints thicker than normal.

Any one else have this problem? Any way of fixing it (apart from not using arial which is my suggestion)

I have also tried matching properties which doesn't work.

Thanks

Highlight the text and in the properties palette set the position z to 0

Thanks for your reply

I am afraid i have just checked and the set position of z is already 0.

Any other suggestions?

don't "check", actually type 0 for Z setting in Properties, you've set
AutoCAD to round up too high.

Good: always be weary of info AutoCAD presents, be aware other settings may
be influencing what you see. It's easiest to just set what you want.
