Show scale on plot stamp when printing

I am trying to show the scale for the drawing on the printed hard copy so that it can be read by the user without adding it to the drawing....if that makes sense.

Can I use the plot stamp to automatically show the scale the drawing was printed at?

Ideally the plot stamp adds the scale automatically for each viewport.

any ideas?

One of the options that can be selected for showing on the plot stamp is "plot scale" - is thai what you require?
