Printer Drivers Missing

When using AutoCAD 2007 the printer drivers for our office xerox in the plot pulldown are missing.

We have all the default CAD drivers and the Adobe PDF but not the two for the office.

All the other computers in the office have them visible and working.

My computer is new. Our IT guy didn't even know how to get them working with CAD.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks!!!!

OPTIONS command in 2007, plot tab, make sure HIDE SYSTEM PRINTERS is not selected.

It's unchecked.

Weird: are your drivers available in other applications on your PC?

Very weird. Yes the drivers are available in other applications. Its just an issue with CAD.

Win8? 8.1? Win7? WinXP? Vista?
32bit or 64bit?

The missing drivers, are they for HP printers/plotters?

They're for the networked xerox printer, copier, scanner (all in one machine, office machine). Not an HP.

Any luck in figuring out what the issue is and how to fix it?

There must be something very unique about your PC and/or setup is all I can think of, since everyone else in your office doesn't have the problem.

Since Win7 is an unsupported OS for AutoCAD2007, maybe running it under Win7's XP-Mode may help.

Hmm. Strange cause even the IT guy that does all our computer stuff doesn't understand why.

I'll send him your comments about running CAD under XP mode and see what he says.

Appreciate the insight.

If only the boss would upgrade then maybe this issue and many others would go away.

Thanks!
