Plotting Textmasks on HP DesignJet

I am having problems with the textmask plotting on the HP DesignJet 750C+ plotter. The mask frame (a wipeout) is plotting (with frames OFF) and shows all objects inside that should be masked. I updated the HP drivers to V4.63 from Hp.com, but no difference. When I plot to our Xerox, the masking works great! I read that .hdi drives (like the HP) have problems with masks/wipeouts. Any help would be appreciated.

We don't have that plotter, but in general,
I have better luck creating PC3's to Windows
System Printers and plotting to those.  I also set up a Plot pulldown menu
to grab frequently used Plot Styles stored in DWT files.  Those Plot
Styles always point to PC3's that use PCL5e versions of Windows
Drivers.

There's also a lisp routine out there
called PAGEOUT that will write a script that fills in the Plot Dialog Box for
you every time.  Fill it in right.  Save it to a
script.  Launch the script from a command line in a Pulldown
Menu.  It's a real time saver compared to filling in all those
little windows every time.
