PDF Printing Problem

Using Sheet Set Manger > Publish Dialog Box with the default (or selected) page setup, and the Page Setup for each layout has the DWG to PDF.pc3.  The result is fine except a box with gray shade that shows on all but the first page printed, see attached.  This does not happen if layouts are printed individually.

Any suggestions?

It happens when printing individual layouts too.

Something in your file most likely, not the pdf driver. Without as DWG file you'll have to dig to find out more.
Consider posting and consulting fellow C3D users in that forum while you wait here.

Autodesk support resovled the issue for me.  Apparently there is a known issue with the navbar.  To resolve per Autodesk

"We have seen the issue your reported happen before, and it is related to the status of the navigation toolbar.
To try to solve the problem, please type NAVBAR in the command prompt. If NAVBAR is currently enabled (ON), turn it off, and if it is disabled, turn it on."
