How to print white text on black geometry?

How can I print white text on black geometry.

I am using AutoCAD 2002 and a HP DesignJet 755CM.

I am plotting with the default acad.ctb (color table) and set the text
object color to color 255.

This produces white text with small black dots - close but not good enough.
I tried various settings but unable to get completely white text on black
geometry.

What am I missing?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am also posting in the "plotting/printing" news group.

I have searched both newsgroups and autodesk tech docs.

Thanks Sam

Have you tried True Color RGB 255,255,255 ?
You might have better luck at the Print-Plot Newsgroup.

The Printing and Plotting newsgroup can be accessed in either of the
following ways:

Thanks for the input.

It seems that setting the screening to 0 using the plotter configured with a
"system" driver works well; however, using the AutoCAD driver does not give
you the same results. In fact, if you set screening to 0, it is completely
ignored and the color beneath shows through.

Thanks for your assistance

Check the pc3 file. If you have the Graphics/ Lines merge set then they
do show through. If you have to overwrite then they don't. You then
have to be carefull about draw order.
