We're having an issue on some of our machines when printing to PDF.
See image attached.
The Text in a client's logo (from the client) has been drawn with splines and hatches.
In the attached image:
First line = screen shot from AutoCAD.
Second line = Screen shot from bad PDF print.
Third line = Screen shot from good PDF print.
I can't figure out why this is happening on only a few machines.
They are identical machines (theoretically) with the same versions of AutoCAD and PDF drivers and as far as I can tell the drivers (acroplot) are set up the same. It's in the PDF file or AutoCAD settings itself, not the PDF reader. I've checked out the same PDF files on multiple machines.
On the machines doing this, the curved hatches in the PDFs come out 'chunky' even with the DWGtoPDF driver. So is it some AutoCAD setting I'm missing? Perhaps some kind of HATCHPRINTRESOLUTION variable??
Update: The hatching looks fine when printing directly to a printer and not to a PDF.
Of course, this doesn't solve the problem... but may help troubleshoot it.
