We got in a new plotter, corporate's choice, and it happens to be a Canon 7270. It's fast, got good color, and does a gerat job on Tabloid/Ledger/AnsiB/11x17 plots. On letter though, it drops the top several inches of the plot. Preview is fine and looks right, but the hard copy is truncated. Changing plot device to the old HP5000 will give me a good prinbt, but that's not really an acceptable solution. (The 5000 is 8 years old, rather long in the tooth, and getting creaky)
Does anyone out here in forum land have experience with this particular model of Canon ImageRunner? We've had tech support out several times addressing issues, but he knows nada about CAD printing or settings.
I don't have any experience with that plotter, but in the spirit of "workaround", does the driver allow and have you tried defining a custom page size that duplicates "Letter"?
