AutoCAD 14 to HP DesignJet 700 Series

I am running AutoCAD 14 in a Windows NT 4.0 environment trying to print to a
HP750C with the system printer driver. I have version 4.35 of the HP
Windows NT driver. With the HP650C and the HP1050C, I can generate a plot
on a 24x36 D-size sheet of paper with a 1/2" reveal on the top, bottom, and
right, and a 1-1/2" reveal on the left. This is standard drafting procedure
for borders. When attempting this with the 700 series plotter, I am having
trouble. I have set the plotter to a paper size of software and
expanded/smaller margins on all devices. When printing to the 700 series
device, AutoCAD is ignoring the expanded margins setting on the plotter.
The margins in regular mode are 17mm and in expanded/smaller mode are 10mm.
All I can get is 17mm. If I use the HPGL2 drivers, the expanded/smaller
margins are recognized. Please help because I want to be able to use the
System printer driver for all my devices.

Thank You

Have you turned extened margins off? To do this type plot at the command
line. Thtn click on the Plot Device tab. After that find the find the
properties button next to where you select your plotter. In there you will
find a option to Extend Margins make suree its clicked off.

That option does not exist for the 750c. I think all my problems would be
solved if I had the option in the driver to set the margins.
