Help with MEASURE command required

I have DWG Trueview 2015 installed on Windows 8.1. Everything appears to work very similarly to my previous Trueview, however the measuring tool does not provide any measurement data when used. In my previous Trueview, on second clicking say for a linear dimension, a tab would come up with the distance stated. When I do this on my installed Trueview 2015, I get nothing. I have tried it on areas and volumes and it's just the same - nothing. How do I get it to show the measurement data ? What am I doing wrong ? As someone who calculates quantities from drawings, Trueview is brilliant for me as I have no AutoCAD training, however it's pretty useless if I cannot get the measuring tool to work.

Help please !

DTV2014 is still available, get it instead. It works.

Is this really the only answer???

Does Autodesk plan on supporting the measure command in DWG TrueView?

Kinda hoping someone at Autodesk would respond...
