Drawing comes to top with multiple drawing open

I have AutoCAD Civil 3D stretched across 2 monitors. I have 3 drawings open that are not maximized. I have drawing A on one monitor and B & C placed on the other. I want to look at A and C at once. But if I'm in drawing C on the one monitor and click in to drawing A on the other. Drawing B comes to the front of Drawing C.

Is there a way to keep Drawing B in back. I know I can minimize B but I find it difficult to find it then. If I use the tabs to activate it. It will come up maximized.

I've never had any luck trying to get that sort of setup to work. What I do is have a second instance of Civil3D open. Put One file in the first instance and the other in the second. We do that often where I work as we all have two monitors.
