Improve security by logging user’s downloads.

To help increase traceability of PLM actions and downloads, it would be helpful to track users actions when downloading or viewing a file from PLM. This action can be included in the systems log list or the systems log list can be configurable.

Security is about knowing who, what, where and when in cases of an ITAR / EAR or IP audits that are conducted.

I agree with you. This is an area where Fusion Lifecycle is seriously lacking in my opinion. We are in the process of moving out of our existing PLM system into Lifecycle. Our current PLM logs almost all actions that take place. Here is just a sample of some of the actions it documents.

This has proven very beneficial when problem solving and is an aspect of fusion that I hope to see improved.
