What is the difference between ‘Save’ and ‘Save and Clone’?

When creating a Record, what is the difference between ‘Save’ and ‘Save and Clone’?

Save = commits your changes to the Item record. Save and Clone = save copy as.  Great if you have several to create with similar information.
