Revision Pinning Question

Is there a way I can pin a revision to the upcoming revision?

The need occurs when I have a Change Order where I am both releasing items and a BOM referencing those items.

 BOM unreleased -> A

      ITEM1   unrelease -> A

      ITEM2   unrelease -> A

From what I can see then I have to release all items hierachical from the lowest level and up and then apply pinning as I go.

Is there a way to get around this?

"At this point in time there is not away around this other than the way you describe."
