PM Tab Timeline - Unexpected Behavior

I'm looking at the timeline on a PM tab and I see the green bar indicating status is proportioanl to the % complete and not the milestone reached. I would expect that when a milestone is reached the "green bar" woul align with the appropriate milestone.

My veiw is that I want to have a visual indicator as to where the items is in relation to dates and not % complete as as a Project Manager I'm terested in due dates over % complete.

This is not a big issue it's just seems a bit odd.

I would like to check something else with you. If you go to the task item and look at the milestones, is the % complete value set to 40 % for the milestone labelled [05] 50%? It could be that the milestone label does not match the % complete assigned to that specific milestone after all.

Yes it is.

I know it seems odd but the state [05] 50% represents 50% of engineering state complete but overall progress is 40%.

Hi Orrin,

Thank you for sending screenshot of task's milestones tab. The % complete on the task itself also shows 40 %, so there is no problem there. The milestones' bars are positioned based on dates and do not follow the % complete. Please log new feature request on IdeaStation website to have timeline follow dates data rather than % complete data.
