On edit script, access the old data to identify what changed.

Does this functionality exist?  I'd like to take potentially take action on the fields that change within a script.  Like automating a workflow transition if a new owner is assigned.

I was wondering about this too.   Suppose you could always cache the current/previous value in a hidden field...
