Number field with decimal places

How can I create a number field in Item Details that allows for 2 decimal places?  Integer data type does not allow for decimals, and none of the other options seem to make sense for this.   I've attached a screen shot showing the data type options I have.  Thanks!

Try the Float field. You can set decimal precision with that. By definition, an integer is a whole number... One you for sure dont want anything after the decimal.

Great.  That seems to work, but I'm having trouble changing a computed field from integer to float.  Do you know what might be causing the error message in the attached screen shot?

Try deleting current field, and create a new one as float type using same system name re-adding the computed field.
