New Role - NPI related, where does General Permission come from?

I'm sandboxing an NPI process.

I cloned the workspace and now want to create roles for the team members.

I am able to create the NPI [R/W] and [R] role permissions. When I look at permissions for the provided roles, the NPI [W/F] role has NPI - General Permissions, however, when I create a new role and look for that permission to assign, it doesn't exist.

So, what generates the permissions and how does it happen so that this role gets that permission?

See attached image.

Oops... I was apparently logged in  as Edgar Engineer. Strange, I thought I was me when I posted this. Apologies to all.

We'll answer either Bill or Edgar 😉

These permissions come from the workflow - you can set the permission on the transitions.

See the Wiki "Create a Workflow Map" for more details - also Set up Permissions and Workflow Permissions will be helpful too.
