Editing an item in the NCR workspace removes data already entered

In our NCR workspace, when the NCR is initially entered, some selections have lists – not all items are just typed in.  We are finding that as we are now going back to edit a particular NCR to add information, it is deleting all of the drop down list items previously selected.  We then have to go back and find the original document and enter them all back in.
