Edit Items in Nested BOM

Hello,

Is it possible to allow the editing of items in an assembly when the assembly has been added to another item? I am trying to add visiblity to which items in an assembly have been purchased on an order. These parts in the assemblies are used in multiple places so I do not want to do this at an item level.

When you add a Field to the BOM tab (vs. directly on item details) that property is only on the BOM row.... which i think is what you're looking for in terms of functionality...

However - you can't edit the nested items... You'd have to open each sub-BOM and check the marks.
