Can you have a different date format than the one provided in your tenant?

There are two date format settings for a Tenant (site).
1. The system setting. This will be the default for all users
2. The individual user's setting. Personalized display especially useful when working across different countries with different regional needs / settings. The former can be access in Setup (as an administrator) > General Tab > Global Configuration Options and selecting the date format for the site. The latter is set with the user's profile. This can be access after a user logs in by clicking on their name and selecting My Profile. There at the bottom of the page are regional settings that can differ from the site's settings.
Hi John,
Actually to really make a date format clear for global teams, we should have the option to pick a date format such as:
dd/mmm/yyyy eg. 23/MAR/2013. This will really avoid any confusion with date for European and American people working on the same project.
Is this something that PLM360 could support? I was going to log an Idea Station for that.
Thanks
Sergio
Hi Sergio,
Both the settings, profile and tenant, that I referenced in this post can support the dd/mmm/yyyy format for teams that are in other GEO's.
Regards,
John
Hello John, If I select dd/mmm/yyyy in PLM 360: Figure1 I'm getting this date format: Figure2 They don't appear with MAR or FEB in the middle but with 000 with makes them unusefull. I'm maybe doing something wrong. Thanks Sergio
Moreover, now that I have done those date format changes, it is like all my dates are wrong.
Actually, the month is not appearing anymore it stays at 00 and the created and modify dates of my workspaces are funky too:

You should log out and then back in for the changes to be in place.
The changes to the Date Format will not affect records that have already been created.
John
