BOM support across multiple WS's

So I know you can create a BOM using items from multiple workspaces. The reason I want to do this is so different departments can build up different types of information for their specific BOM Items.

Ideally I would then be able to define those BOM relationships on a second pass through with the BOM import or via a seperate Vault Sync Profile/Saved Search setup.

Any ideas? Should I just submit it to the Ideas Exchange then discuss there?

Hi Scott,

Yes, please share your idea on the Autodesk PLM 360 Idea Exchange  and start the discussion with the Development Team as to potentially incorporating it into PLM 360 product.

Please tell me that this limitation on the BOM import tool has been fixed.

I am trying to import a BOM where the majority of child items are located in another workspace. Can that not be done?

Thanks,

Sten
