Autonumber, restarting at 1

I've been working on a test site for our company and I'm just about ready to go live with it.

After I clear out all the test entries in the workspace is it possible to restart the Autonumber at 001?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

I suspect you used the purge command in workspace manager to remove your test items. If I am correct, the AUTONUMBER field counter does not currently get reset as part of purge command. You probably want to consider cloning the workspace if resetting your AUTONUMBER field to 1 is critical.

Hi Mike,

You will need to clone the workspace to reset the counter back to 1. Further to this, please note that the issue with purge command not allowing to reset the auto number counter is on the roadmap.

Hello Mike,

Please note that with the new release that was deployed over the week-end the autonumber will restart at 1 after purging the workspace.
