Blank screen when I open my project

Hi,

I've been testing ReCap360 and I've had several successful projects. But my latest project just goes to a blank screen when I open it.

I got an email saying that it was successfully processed, but when I open it from my gallery I see a gray blank screen. The 'proxy mesh' warning appears at the top of the screen and goes away after a while. But the rest of the UI is blank too - not even a link back to the home page.

Hi Devitt,

Thanks for your report.

What web browser are you using ?

Is the problem appears on that project only or did you ever experienced this behavior with an other scene ?

Could you share your project with us, if possible ?

That would help a lot to understand why you don't see your scene in the 3D viewer.

Click on the sharing icon and enter the following address:

recap360@autodesk.com

Regards,

Pierre

I'm using the latest version of Chrome and can open other projects without a problem.

I have shared the project with recap360@autodesk.com.

Thanks

Hi Devitt,

Thanks for the sharing, we have found a problem with your scene but it should be fixed now.

Could you try to open it again ?

Thanks,

Pierre

I am having the same issue. Except my problem is that all projects on 1 computer (windows 7 x64 w/ chrome) show the grey screen only, and all projects on another computer (windows 7 x64 w/ chrome) show them all fine. Also they show fine on the mobile app.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Can you try to clear your cache on Chrome and see if it's better ?

On Chrome, go on Settings > Show advanced settings...> Clear browsing data button

Select Cookies and other site and plug-in data only if you want to keep your other data, then clear it 😉

Once cleared, you need to close Chrome then re-open it.

Hope it helps,

Pierre

Done that. Uninstalled, reinstalled. Goes to the grey screen with the circles spinning and then that goes away and it is just a grey screen.. the horizontal dots never show up or any image or controls. I can click HOME but that is it.

Could you make some tests and check if your equipment support the WebGL display format ?

First, I would suggest you to click on link hereafter and check if you see a cube:
http://get.webgl.org/

If you don't see the cube, perhaps it come from a problem with your grahic card. Could you update the graphic drivers and see if it's better ?

If you see the cube, let's double-check to see if your browser can open another 3D element which use a similar viewing technology, please click on the link below:
https://fusion360.autodesk.com/models/5ea1163b77b3f3733984c98698292736/embed

In a second time we would be interested to know what the Chrome console says when you open the Recap360 scene.
In Chrome, press F12 to show the Console then open your scene in the Recap360 viewer.
During the opening process, do you see an error message (in red) ? If any, can you paste it or make a screenshot of it ?

Thanks,
Pierre

Are you experiencing this in all your created projects?

We had an outage yesterday, so if you experienced it for the last two days, can you please try a resubmission ?

Thanks

Darren

None of the errors you wrote here cause any disruption in loading your model in the viewer. you can disable js map in your chrome browser setting to remove those errors too if you want

I can't open any of my models in Chrome either.  I can open ones from a few days ago but stuff from yesterday/today I can't open in the web viewer.

I've been downloading the obj file and using meshlab as a work around.

Thanks,

 Matt
